Welcome to the Transitional Medicine Residency Program at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital. Our one-year program is designed to provide a strong, broad clinical foundation for physicians entering a wide variety of specialty training programs.
The Transitional Year at Sinai-Grace is a unique opportunity to broaden your clinical skills, strengthen your medical knowledge, and develop the professional foundation you need to succeed in your chosen specialty.

Our program is ideal for medical graduates who have matched into specialty programs requiring a preliminary or transitional year — including ophthalmology, neurology, anesthesiology, radiology, dermatology, and others.
